Basler Locations

At our four locations in Germany, our employees are working on new visions for our digital cameras – from R&D to production. Find out what makes each location special and what you can expect to find there.

The headquarters is located in Ahrensburg, Schleswig-Holstein, where approximately 560 employees work in all areas of the company – from R&D to logistics.

The approx. 20,300-m² building with four floors is located in the industrial area of Ahrensburg and houses our main production with a generous logistics area in addition to modern, partly open, office space. There is no need to worry about coffee, breakfast and lunch as the location has an in-house bistro. Throughout the building, our pantries and lounge corners invite you to chat with colleagues over coffee or tea.

The building is located directly on a large natural area that invites you to go jogging or for a walk during breaks. The location is easy to reach by regional train and by car via the highway A1. A parking garage of approx. 8,750 m² with 500 parking spaces is available to all employees.

Jobs in Ahrensburg

In Hamburg, about 10 colleagues from the software area work at the Fruchthof Campus, a modern co-working space near Hamburg's central train station.

On more than 700 m², the community, including the Basler team, has access to top-equipped co-working spaces. In addition to the technical infrastructure, there are also four attractive meeting rooms – some with a view over the roofs of Hamburg's HafenCity. For undisturbed phone calls, the soundproofed "telephone" cells can be used.

A cozy lounge area invites you to linger and serves as a meeting place for the community – plus hot and cold drinks and small self-service office snacks. In the community kitchen, you cannot only quickly heat up the lunch you have brought with you, but of course also cook your own meals. If you are in a hurry, you can find discounted lunches for Basler employees at selected restaurants in the area.

Jobs in Hamburg

In Neumünster, Schleswig-Holstein, approx. 20 employees work in R&D and production.

The 1,000-m² office is spread over three bright floors. All areas are freshly renovated and have ergonomically equipped workstations. There are spacious kitchen pantries on all floors, inviting people to have a quick chat or lunch. As at all other locations, beverages and fresh fruit are freely available to colleagues. If you are looking for something different, you can grab a discounted lunch in the nearby city center or take a quick stroll to the neighboring McArthurGlen designer outlet.

The direct location on the A7 and generous on-site parking facilities make it easy to get here.

Jobs in Neumünster

Approximately 50 employees work at the Mannheim site in the German state of Baden-Württemberg, most of them in the R&D department. The focus of the site is on the development of frame grabbers and interface cards as well as related software.

The company building in the Eastsite office park (Neuostheim district) accommodates around 2,500 m² of office space on five floors, allows free design of the interior spaces and is thus adaptable to changing working methods and workforce structures. The modular design without load-bearing walls with twelve modules in width, five in height and four in depth results in the impressive overall structure of the building.
